You’ve probably noticed that fuller, more shapely eyebrows are back in these days. The overplucked, thinner style has seen its day, and lots of women are looking for ways to get their overplucked eyebrows back to looking fuller, darker and less sparse.
There are definitely ways to help regrow the brows you have, such as using castor oil and castor oil with other essential oils like rosemary, mint, and clary sage since they help stimulate hair growth.
However, if you want more dramatic results that will help you get through the awkward regrowth stage, or if like many people you’ve simply overplucked your brows over years and the damage is irreversible, an eyebrow dye or tint kit may be just the thing you need.
Eyebrow Tinting Kits
Enter the Godefroy Eyebrow Tint Kit, pictured above in the Medium Brown tint option. It’s a simple, inexpensive kit that you can use to tint your eyebrows periodically to get the fuller, more defined eyebrow.
It takes a few tries to get the arch and shape just right, but once you get the hang of this great little kit, you’ll be amazed at how it really fills in your brows by tinting all those tiny little hairs that normally are too small and too light to show up and define your brow arch.
It also lasts a really long time. You get several capsules of color powder (shown in the small plastic container in the picture above), a tiny mixing bowl, an arched brush for precision application, and a small bottle of developer.
Some Tips for Optimal Results
I recommend you also keep a q-tip on hand for spot corrections when you’ve applied the prepared tint to areas you don’t want it on, and a tooth pick or some sort of stirring stick to mix up the powder and developer, as I didn’t like using the angled brush to do this since I wanted it to keep its shape.
I found that leaving the tint on my brows for about 2-3 minutes is what worked best (after a few trial and errors of leaving it on too long with too-dark results, and also not long enough where the dye didn’t have enough time to develop and darken). It is best to have a timer or clock close by so you can time it.
Simply try to follow the natural arch of your eyebrows when applying. This is the best way to get the most natural outcome. You can of course draw a little outside this natural line if you desire a thicker look, and it will dye all those tiny little pale hairs as well for a fuller look.
I’ve found that the tint usually lasts anywhere from 1-2 weeks. Once you get the hang of this, it is not time consuming at all to do touchups here and there when you feel your brows are needing to look fuller again.
This eyebrow tint kit is really transformative for those looking for fuller eyebrows once again! I’ve found it greatly reduces or even removes that need to fill in my brows with brow liner, and it’s much more natural looking than brow liners and powders since it dyes your own hairs, and you can control how dark or light you want it by reducing or increasing the development time.
