This conditioning treatment also offers superior detangling capabilities, which means you will not damage your hair by running a comb or brush through it after conditioning. It also provides for excellent strand separation. What does this mean? You might notice when you've gone a few days without washing and conditioning your hair, that it starts to sort of "clump" together and lose it's defined shape and body. This is because the conditioner has warn off and you've lost the effect of strand separation that comes from the hydrogen bonds being temporarily broken between the hair strands. This strand separation (which means bounce, body and definition) comes back once you have a good cleanse, followed by conditioning and detangling. The detangling agent we use in this conditioner is (our humble opinion) the best out there, and it really works wonders. Some people even think that using our shampoo and conditioner seems to keep their hair cleaner, longer.
Our Deep Hydration Conditioner is also great for controlling frizzy, dry hair. Why is this? And why does it also consequently help to tame your hair when the environmental humidity level is high? Well, when your hair is hydrated, it is less likely to soak up the excess moisture micro-droplets from the air (ie humidity), which means less frizz and unruliness when humid weather strikes. Protein loss and porosity - This conditioner also addresses these two common hair concerns. Protein loss can occur from over processing. The organic coconut oil in this formula helps to restore lost protein. Also, the coconut oil, combined with the silk proteins and organic cold pressed argan oil, helps address the concern of increased porosity. Porosity and protein loss are very similar in that they leave the hair feeling like it has less integrity, like it will snap and break more easily because it is not as "whole" as it used to be. This can be due to a number of factors: excessive sun exposure and bleaching, excessive chemical processing, using too many high heat tools repeatedly on the hair like high heat blow dryers and high heat curling or flat irons, putting the hair up into tight ponytails or buns on a daily basis, and last but not least - simple aging of the hair.

About the ingredients and how they work:
Among the key ingredients in the conditioner are silk amino proteins, argan oil (also known as Moroccan oil), and coconut oil, as well as the most effective hair de-tangling agent available to separate strands for easy combing, and maximum body and softness. Collagen and lecithin add tensile strength, which means more resistance to breakage from pulling, stretching and styling - and increases resistance to the two issues we talked about above, porosity and protein loss.
Directions: This conditioner should be left on for a minimum of 3-5 minutes before rinsing and can be left in even longer if you want a deeper, more intensive conditioning. This conditioner will give you super soft and manageable hair along with great body and sheen. (*Professional tip : Never over-rinse conditioner. You really shouldn't need to rinse for more than 30-50 seconds - no more than one minute - depending on hair's length and thickness. Your hair should still have that silky feel after rinsing excess product. It really can make the difference between a GREAT hair day and a so-so hair day.)
